Artiste, Tracy Chu (朱千雪), attended 2014 Ms Hong Kong event (2014香港小姐活動) and when mentioned if there was any incentive for referrals, she said with interest: "When I am taking train at that time, I remember I see this lady and keep looking at her for three stations. She is quite good but I dare not go forward. She already alighted when I want to tell her to participate in Ms Hong Kong contest.". Tracy described the lady was tall and skinny, quiet and elegant.
Tracy hoped that friends will nominate beauties to participate and she will undertake the persuasion role. When asked if she told her two sister to participate, Tracy expressed that they lived in Canada and did ask them but they had not graduated yet. She laughed and added that her parents will have to return to Hong Kong if her sisters were participating.
As for artiste, Eliza Sam (岑麗香), who was at the same event and expressed they she had friends whose sisters were around 20 years old which was an acceptable age. With Ms Hong Kong background, Eliza felt that entering into Ms Hong Kong contest broaden her horizon. When mentioned about reports relating to the filming of movie, Girls Police Academy, and if she was boycotted from other female artistes, Eliza expressed she only saw the news upon returning to Hong Kong and they did build rapport with five artistes during the filming of action scenes, and created group chat in Weixin to encourage each other as well.
