Subsequently, the hospital referred to the CCTV (Eye in the Sky) and investigated the bizarre issue.
The surname of the impersonated doctor was Mao (毛) and he was 24 years old. He was welcomed by the nurses and patients due to his height, muscular build and dashing looks. Mao came from a small family with parents, sister, brother in-law and 5 years old nephew. Earlier, he studied medical in Australia for 3 years, but failed many subjects and returned to Hong Kong halfway.
As Miao's ambition was to become a doctor and failing his medical studies was a hard blow to him. As such, he sneaked into the hospital to impersonate as doctor in order to realise his dream. From March this year, he impersonated as doctor at least 10 times and managed to get the temporary staff pass from the security. He made his visits to children and orthopedic department as a doctor in United Christian Hospital.
