New TVB series: Katy Kung acts as Lau Kong's youngest wife

Katy Kung (龔嘉欣), Grace Chan (陳凱琳) and Lau Kong (劉江) try out their role images for TVB new series, The Forgotten Alley (平安谷之詭谷傳說) on 10 January. Katy acts as Lau Kong's youngest wife and has several bed scenes in the series: "I look forward to the bed scenes with Lau Kong and tell Grace to see our filming. I feel Lau Kong looks very domineering. (Domineering in bed?) I am referring to acting skills but find it amusing as I act as his daughter in my first series, Ghost Writer and become his woman now. We have many bed scenes as the script says I can give birth to many babies and he keeps lighting up my lamp. I need to find ways to stop him."

Mentioning about hurting her back when filming Justice Bao: The First Year (包青天再起風雲時) series with Hugo Wong (黃子恆) a few days later, Katy explains Hugo carries her and throws her to the ground, and realises something is wrong when she cannot turn her waist. However, she has not seen a doctor yet due to busy working.

Lau Kong praises Raymond Wong looks strong and healthy

Raymond Wong (黃浩然), Lau Kong (劉江) and Grace Chan (陳凱琳) were filming new series, Safety Valley, Catch One by One (平安谷·逐個捉) at TVB City on 13 February. The scene illustrates that Louis Yuen (阮兆祥) brings military into the village and Lau Kong was beaten up by him when trying to stop him. Raymond acts as Lau Kong's son tries to save him instead and it reminds Lau Kong of the memories filming action movies. He also mentioned he had 4 wives in the series. Raymond then joked that he must have bribed the producer and only had Grace who acted as his wife. Lau Kong praised Raymond looked very healthy and strong and he explained he undergone training as he was supposed to remove his top. Asking if Lau Kong needed to remove his top, he said: "I do not need to sell my flesh to survive."

Grace disclosed she will be abused in the series but not to the extreme. Mentioning about Valentine's Day, Grace replied she met her boyfriend, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) at late hours after finishing the filming.

Bobby Au Yeung praises Nancy Wu for her acting

Artiste Bobby Au Yeung (歐陽震華), Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Joyce Tang (滕麗名), Koni Lui (呂慧儀), Law Lan (羅蘭), Wu Fung (胡楓), Lau Kong (劉江) and more, had their costume fitting session for the upcoming drama House of Spirits (一屋老友記). Asked whether the drama is a century's classic? Bobby said: "It is indeed classic. People will eventually think about ghosts/spirits, but we don't use the word 'ghost'. It's about protecting friends. It's scaring people in  a funny way and not a horror scare". Bobby even praised Nancy Wu, as it's his first time working with her: "It is proved that I can still partner up with young women and I'm not getting old at all. She (Nancy) is a grown up woman and the she has improved a lot in the recent years. She has the style of a lead actress and has stability in her acting. She is very clear in every character she undertakes.

Worried about the frequent NG's

Nancy Wu who was praised by Bobby expressed: "I will continue to work hard. A while ago when I ran into him for a conversation, he encouraged me and now we can finally collaborate. (Are you worried of not able to hold in your laughter and have frequent NG's?) It would likely to happen. It is hard for me to hold in my laughter, even looking at him makes me laugh. Bobby is TVB's lucky star. I haven't even started filming with Bobby and I predict the drama will receive 33 points in ratings.

Have zero contact with Stephen Chan

When speaking about ex-TVB chief  Stephen Chan (陳志雲) charged for bribery over show payments, the case has been adjourned and the final decision will be made next month on the 18th. Nancy indicated: "I am unaware of the incident". (Are you in contact with Stephen?) We have no contact with each other. In the past, we only see each other at the company when I'm working, but I do hope he is okay.

Ruco Chan shaves his head to bald and is not worried of not knowing any girls

Artiste, Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), was trying out the role image for new series, Pirate Cheung 張保仔 (Temporary title) in Tseung Kwan O TVB City (將軍澳電影城). He acted as the eleventh price and when mentioned about his partner, Raymond Wong (黃浩然), suffered inflammation of the tonsils, Ruco joked and said: "I will take his life while he is sick!"

When asked if he was afraid of unable to woo any girls after shaving his head to bald, Ruco said: "I think my luck has changed if I manage to find a girl during this period. (Changing luck?) Shaving head to bald is considered changing luck. Earlier, I fail to find a girlfriend and who knows the girls may like my bald head?"

Ruco disclosed many newcomers acted in this new series and when asked if he had any targets, Ruco expressed Maggie Shiu (邵美琪) was not bad and said: "I grow up together with her and watch her series since young." He added that all artistes were good and said: "I work together with the same cast from the series, Slow Boat Home (情越海岸線), again and some newcomers as well."
