Myolie Wu and her husband visit the Lee ancestral hall
Last month on December 28th, artiste Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) married her Hong Kong businessman boyfriend Philip Lee (李乘德). Philip is part of an ancestral family whose village is located in Sha Tau Kok, therefore there were rumors as to why they did not hold a wedding at a church, but rather at Philip's ancestral hall. However, on the day of their marriage they did not visit the village, but today was the day they went to the Lee ancestral hall.
Myolie Wu was dressed in a red long dress, matched with a red leather jacket and red headwear. As for Philip, he was wearing a pair of black pants, a white shirt and a red sweater. The scene was lively organised with a dragon dance and red firecrackers. The husband and wife was very sweet, as they held hands and walked together into the ancestral hall. They also attracted many onlookers from the village. The couple followed the Hakka traditonal rules to complete the whole ceremony, Myolie was seen smiling a lot during the ceremony and we wonder if the new Hakka daughter-in-law has learnt some Hakka words?
