In order to act the role well, many artistes have to cultivate their mood for their required roles and it is a challenge to get out from the character after completed filming the series. As for Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼), the acting for the role affected her mood and she suffered from insomnia as a result.
Charmaine said "Today, I finish filming for a scene which makes one's hair standing on end (Mao Gu Song Ran) and it is horrible (Can Bu Ren Du). I am totally exhausted and have not regain myself yet, as keep thinking about it. Here is better but there can be slightly more. My mind keeps thinking non-stop. Oh my god! I have insomnia again tonight."
