Former Miss Hong Kong winner, Kayi Cheung (張嘉兒) and non-celebrity boyfriend Nathan Lau tied the knot in Vancouver on September 12. On the night during the wedding banquet, a two-minute video clip of the wedding process was aired. The video showed the wedding from church to photoshoots and more. The two was very sweet and affectionate towards each other.
Although the two seemed like they would hold a western-style wedding, but they held a Chinese traditional wedding ceremony. The couple first served tea to their parents, as to Kayi who wore a qun kwa and hands full of gold bracelets, were very teary during the tea ceremony. Subsequently, in the video clip, Kayi was seen in her wedding veil holding hands with her father walking into church together. She and her husband Nathan then read their wedding vows and later in the video Kayi was seen changed into a Deep V white dress revealing her career line. Lastly, a segment showed the couple's big and shiny diamond rings.
