Artiste Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) and Mandy Wong (黃智雯) attended the promotion campaign of Captain of Destiny (張保仔) series on a sailboat. As the sailboat was moving and shaking, Mandy lost her balance and Tony Hung (洪永城) needed to hold her firmly. In the series, Joel Chan (陳山聰) and Mandy were a couple and had many interesting scenes. Asking Ruco if he was scared of Tony gaining all the attentions, Ruco said: "Most importantly, the audiences are happy and there is many obstacles before filming. I feel elated as the filming is successful."

When mentioned that TVB tried to tie their artistes with long contract in order to retain and they will become 'frozen' immediately if refused, and they were one of them, both smiled and looked at each other. Ruco said: "I have long contract and will become retirement funds if renew again." Mandy replied there was sometime till her contract's expiry but TVB Executive, Virginia Lok (樂易玲) did discuss about the new contract: "We need to discuss slowly as the female needs to consider all factors."
Asking if TVB requested for 10 years contract, Mandy looked at Ruco and broke out in embarrassing smile as if to ask for help from him. Ruco said: "I am considered newcomer and wish to sign 10 years contract." When the reporters asked Mandy if marriage was one of the considerations to renew contract, Mandy said: "This is a normal stage for girls but it will not be an obstacle. TVB is top priority." When asked if Myolie Wu's (胡杏兒) departure from TVB made her to have same decision, Mandy replied nope but uncertain in the future.
