After the wedding dinner, Annie participated in the charity event in Beijing and explained it was due to menstruation reason: "It happened to be my menstrual cycle during those past two days and everybody should understand this is beyond my control. Woman tends to have sudden hormones changes and it might be swollen badly." She added her son tried to console her and said: "He said I was very weird as I knew it was not 'swollen' face.
