Joyce Cheng doesn't want Eason Chan to retire
Singers Joyce Cheng (鄭欣宜) and Alfred Hui (許廷鏗) both appeared at the television station to attend a children singing competition event. Recently busy with the filming of movies and television shows, Joyce stated that it has been awhile since she have the opportunity to perform.
Speaking of Eason Chan (陳奕迅) recently on a Taiwanese television programme expressing his plan of leaving the music industry after two years, as a loyal Eason fan Joyce said: "I hope he will continue to perform or else I will be really upset." But at the same time, she expressed that she understands Eason's disappointment towards record sales caused to reach this decision: "The truth is people who buy CDs are becoming less. Everyone have their own reasons to sing." Joyce expressed she is also currently discussing with her company about the direction of her future music compilations.
