Donnie Yen revisits his childhood memories in the US
The mighty Donnie Yen (甄子丹) followed his parents and immigrated to Boston in the US when he was 11-years old. Recently, he revisited the childhood place where he grew up and looked back upon many of his childhood memories. He pointed out that while he was reminiscing upon his childhood, it seems like it was just yesterday that he was a child.
Donnie revealed that his parents were really strict because they followed the Chinese tradition in raising him. They were afraid he will turn bad in the US so they cruelly sent him back to Beijing to be educated. Donnie also revealed that he has helped his mother open a martial arts school in the US. After he surrendered his US visa, it still had a surprising influence on him. As a Kung fu superstar of this generation, he spared no efforts to promote the quintessence of his country.
