TVB purchased series, Journey to the West (西遊記) and the premiere episode ratings was at 25 pts. On the eve of Public Holiday (Wednesday), the ratings was at 19 pts. Yesterday (01 May 2014) ratings was at 23 pts which rose by 4 pts, about 260000 viewership and total viewership was around 1600000. As for the feedbacks collected, 8 people supported this series while 9 people suggested to change the time slot, and 41 of them called to request to stop airing this series.
When the reporters asked TVB management staff, Zeng Xin Ming (曾醒明) about related program, Scoop (東張西望) about withdrawal of the introduction of Journey to the West, he explained that it was an internal misunderstanding: "TVB misunderstands about the internet copyright issue for Journey to the West, thus we withdraw the introduction. However, we have aired the original version today."
