Taiwanese artiste, Hu Xia (胡夏) starred as the male lead in new movie, The Left Ear (左耳) which was directed by Alec Su (蘇有朋) as his debut workpiece. Hu Xia's new song, 'Mei Hao De Zuo Tian 美好的昨天' will be used in the movie and Alec said: "Hu Xia's new song has the style which resembles the school and the lyrics contain the youth memory. Previously, I listened to his song, You Are the Apple of My Eye (那些年，我們一起追的女孩) and it was very attractive. Hope The Left Ear will break the box office just like his song became popular."
Hu Xia was extremely touched upon hearing Alec's remarks and he decided to reserve 10 sessions of the new movie to treat his fans. At first, Hu Xia assumed Alec was older than him by few years old but he immediately asked him for 'freezing' age tips upon knowing Alec was 41 years old. Alec laughed and said: "Always ensure you are in a happy mood and keep smiling."
