Artiste Power Chan (陳國邦) and his wife Mimi Lo (羅敏莊) and daughter were in Taiwan when an earthquake happened in the South Taiwanese city of Tainan. However, they had updated their safety earlier and recorded a video clip in Taiwan to wish Happy New Year to everybody. In the video, they looked very energetic and said in a happy mood: "Gong Xi Fa Cai! Hope everyone is healthy!" Power disclosed they will be celebrating New Year in Taiwan and returning to Hong Kong on day 2 of Lunar New Year.
