Jackie Chan, the only Chinese to make it to Forbes' Top 100 Celebrities

America's renowned financial magazine Forbes (福布斯) earlier announced this year's Top 100 Celebrities, the list that ranks the highest paid celebrities in the world. First time entering the list is international celebrity Jackie Chan (成龍), earning approximately 50 Million (USD) and was ranked number 38, becoming the only Chinese amongst the list. The founder of New York's Asian Film Awards even coined him as the "Mickey Mouse of the Chinese culture", stating that he is the representative of the Chinese culture.

Known for risking his life for acting, Jackie also puts in a great effort in environmental protection. Even though he annually earns over billions, he still maintains his eco-friendly and frugal lifestyle. When he interviewed by a Forbes reporter at a hotel in Beverly Hills, openly took out a used piece of fragrance soap from a plastic bag and revealed that it was a personal item from a hotel at Macau that he earlier resided in. He even smilingly said: "This piece of soap has travelled the world with me." From his actions, his support in environmental protection is not just all talk! He would also encourage people he's acquainted with to also become more environmentally-friendly. It is reported that during filming, he would physically pick up trash and even sort them accordingly. Jackie also has a special habit; when a worker goes to the bathroom, he would tell them to go a few more times before flushing to save water.
