TVB actor Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) won TV King Award based on Captain of Destiny (張保仔) series in Singapore and Malaysia earlier and it is a high possibility that he will become TV King again during TVB Anniversary Awards 2015.
When asked if he had any confidence, Ruco replied he spent lots of time on working and efforts to learn and try, He will feel elated if winning the award again and said: "In fact, I do not think of getting any award and only wish to do my part well and get recognition from the audiences."
Mentioning it was an intense competition with many veterans nominated this year, Ruco said: "Anthony Wong (黃秋生) is my idol and I watch every show, but I hope Wayne Lai (黎耀祥) or Bobby Au Yeung (歐陽震華) will get it. Anthony gives huge and continuous contributions in acting line and I will learn it from him. Wayne and Bobby film many series every year and they act different roles every time. It is hard to maintain the standard and this is their accumulated rewards."
Ruco added that winning TV King Award in Singapore and Malaysia boosted his confidence and said: "Thank you for the recognitions and supports from everybody."
