Louis Koo's parents did not arrange him for matchmaking

Louis Koo (古天樂) and Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) acted together in the new movie, Triumph in the Skies (衝上雲霄), and they had busy work schedules until Lunar New Year eve, followed by few days of rest during Lunar New Year. Both celebrated the festival together with their families in Hong Kong.

Louis said: "I am the eldest son and always 'Bai Nian 拜年' with my family together. Day 1 of Lunar New Year is the worst as I need to pray to my ancestor at 5am and again at 12pm. We are very traditional." When asked if he was pressured to get married being born in a traditional family, Louis said: "It does not matter. (Start a family than 'Bai Nian 拜年' alone every year?) No choice. (Did your family arrange matchmaking for you?) It will be a bad situation if I need to go for matchmaking."

However, Louis felt embarrassed when 'Bai Nian 拜年' every year and said: "I am used to seeing relatives whenever 'bai nian' with my parents. But I am still alone and they already had their own family. Hahaha! I cannot recognise some of their children and they grow up very fast."

Charmaine Sheh gave free movie tickets to relatives

During Lunar New Year, Louis Koo and Charmaine Sheh gave free movie tickets to their relatives. Charmaine expressed that her mother's thinking resembled a westerner, and Louis interrupted: "Her mother lives in Hawaii and should wear bikini." Charmaine said: "We tried swimming together. But she stayed in Hong Kong now and wore Cheongsam again." Louis added: "You can wear it and go swimming together."
