Julian Cheung and Anita Yuen 'set lives free' but netizens describe it as child's play
Few days ago, Julian Cheung (張智霖) and his wife, Anita Yuen (袁詠儀), including their good friends, Christine Ng (伍詠薇), Calvin Choy (蔡一智) and his wife, Winessa Chow (周雪芳), went to 'set lives free' in the sea. On Weibo, Anita left a message: "Relax, carefree! Set the lives free!" In the photos, they set the fishes, crabs and other seafoods free and prayed together. Julian and Calvin even took off their tops to play together and resembled kids playing happily. However, some netizens commented that 'setting lives free' was similar to child play as most likely the seafood will be caught again and better to donate money to charity organisation.
Six days ago, Calvin attended the dinner function by Hong Kong Museum of Medical sciences and replied that 'setting lives free' was organised by Julian and Anita and it was instructed by a master in order to pray for blessings and safety. When asked it was likely the seafood will be caught again, Calvin replied he heard of it before and the master said to leave it to destiny. Calvin only hoped the children will be safe.
