Liza Wang's (汪明荃) speech about salary increment, additional rest and less competition in the same field during TVB Anniversary Awards 2017 a few days ago won applauses from the audiences. Liza's husband, Law Kar Ying (羅家英), Evergreen Mak (麥長青) and Margiela K (郭思琳) attended the celebration banquet of the movie at Mong Kok on 22 January.
Reminding him about his wife's speech, Kar Ying believed it was insufficient and said: "Actually, she can say more as it is live broadcast and cannot cut her. She is too refined and should scold them. Liza should tell TVB to listen to her as she has been working for 50 years and has seen everything but too many rivalry in the same field. We deserve additional rest and should hire more people if shortage of manpower. They should increase the salary otherwise they can leave. Why not work in China instead? She did not ask for my advice beforehand and we can say in this way since we do not work for TVB. (Did Liza tell you anything before?) They go for praying everywhere and call themselves as the owners if owning a rock. Although they do it for the company but for themselves too and the most pitiful is the artiste."
