However less than a week, an indecent video clip begins to widespread on the Internet and it is pointed towards Baby. With regards to this, Baby released a warning letter through her work studio and clarified the woman in the video was not her at all, and demanded the culprit to issue public apology within 3 days.

Two days ago in the morning, another indecent dancing video clip was uploaded on Weibo and discussion forums. In the clip, the woman has long hair and her body is exposed in-front of the camera. The netizen pointed: "I have the video clip and please private message me if you want it!" But some netizens with sharp eyes observed the woman's breast and tattoo were different from Baby and pointed that woman was a 'nobody'.

In order to prevent further misunderstanding, Baby's work studio made clarification and warned the culprit in the afternoon (19 October): "The woman in the video clip is not Baby at all and it is fake news." The letter stated the video clip caused damaged to Baby's pride and reputation: "The citizens have their rights and the character and pride of the citizens should be protected by the law. As for insulting, slander and using ways to harm the citizen's reputation should be punished by the law. The culprit who uploaded the video clip has caused heavy damages to Angelababy's reputation and it can be considered as slander."
The work studio also urged the public not to become accomplice and release stern warning in order to stop the video clip from going viral: "Will immediately prepare all necessary precautions and stop slandering Angelababy right now. Please make compensation and issue public apology to Baby within 3 days of the release of warning letter. Otherwise, we will pursue legal actions."
