Artiste, Jessica Hsuan (宣萱) and Ti Lung (狄龍) filmed new movie, The Kid from the Big Apple (我來自紐約) by EEG and Ti Lung was full of praises for Jessica. He said: "We had location shooting in Malaysia and the conditions were unsatisfactory but Jessica had no complaints at all. She is very famous in Malaysia and there was a traffic jam on the day of movie premiere. We were rushing for time and the police even helped us to open up the road. The opposite party disclosed he/she was a fan of Jessica." Jessica admitted she agreed to film the movie because of Ti Lung despite filming for 4 days only.
Based on understanding, the movie had some problem with the investor initially and Ti Lung said: "I am unsure about the divestment and a stranger turned up to watch the movie subsequently. I felt like telling him to move away as he was blocking it and it turned out he was the new investor. He wanted to monitor it and fortunately, I did not chase him away." This time, the movie production cost was set around 5 Million to 6 Million (in HKD) and it had good ticket sales and responses in Malaysia. Ti Lung and Jessica hoped the movie will remind everyone about the values and importance of the family.
