Stephen Shiu, Jr. tells Dayo Wong to withdraw from movie industry if new film is unsuccessful

Dayo Wong (黃子華) has been having many actions lately and it is exposed he will be participating in stage play and collaborating new film with Stephen Shiu, Jr (蕭定一). On 28 April, Stephen accepted another interview from ON.CC (東網) and admitted to the arrangement and the new movie will be named as The Stand-Up Spy (棟篤特工) temporarily.

In the movie, Dayo acted as an undercover from England and staying in Hong Kong. He worked as a private investigator on the surface but worked for the social problem research centre. Stephen disclosed Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) was the ideal female lead and said: "They established good rapport when filming You're Hired (絕代商驕) series. She will act as the wife of the mafia's boss and seek revenge on Dayo upon releasing from the prison after 10 years, as she approaches him to look for her husband but no news at all." Stephen added the movie was based on action and comedy theme and the style was similar to Mr. Bean (戇豆先生) and From Beijing with Love (國產凌凌漆) movies.

Told Dayo to withdraw from movie industry

When asked about the reason for choosing Dayo as his 'performance' was normal in movie industry, Stephen said: "Dayo's popularity and other areas are suitable for this movie. He can withdraw from movie industry if it is unsuccessful."
