Taiwanese celebrity, Michelle Chen (陳妍希) accepted the marriage proposal from Mainland China artiste, Chen Xiao (陳曉) in Paris and it is estimated they will complete the wedding by this year.
Michelle attended the press conference of new movie, Scandal Maker (外公芳齡38) in Beijing last year and the marriage became the highlight. On the stage, she was urged to get married quickly and said with embarrassment: "I know everyone wants to see me get married and I am looking forward to it too!" In the movie, Tong Dawei (佟大為) acted as Michelle's father and expressed the actresses such as Zhang Ziyi (章子怡), Zhou Xun (周迅) and Cecilia Liu (劉詩詩) who worked with him before were married. Dawei called himself as 'lucky star' and disclosed he was concerned about the marriage related to his 'daughter', Michelle and when asked about the criteria to become his son in-law, Dawei said: "What matters most is my daughter loves him but he must be kind hearted too."
