Artiste, Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) got to know Hong Kong runner, Inti who was blind after filming Every Step You Take (陪著你走) series after 2 years. Lately, Inti is participating in marathon and Myolie, Toby Chan (陳庭欣) and Maggie Q (李美琪) root for Inti.
Sought advice from Inti in order to act as blind person
During an interview with ON.CC (東網), Myolie disclosed she sought advice from Inti when acting as blind person in Every Step You Take series. It included day to day details, cooking, applying make-up and doing computer work. She knew it was not easy for Inti to run and use guide dog as well. Myolie understood it was difficult for a blind person to overcome the obstacles and complete the marathon.
Had dinner with Inti in private
Myolie said: "She visited me during filming previously and we become good friend, and will have dinner together in private. I feel happy for her to participate in marathon and it can broaden her horizon. Inti wishes to have an exciting life and 'see' the world with her handicapped friends."
Inti was persistant
Inti had glaucoma when she was 16 years old and lost her eyesight around 10 years ago, but she did not give up and continue to live an exciting life. She had been training herself in sports activity 7 years ago and becomes the first female blind person to challenge the marathon in Hong Kong after 1 years later.
