Asked about contract renewal, Ron Ng hoped it will be win-win situation


Earlier, artiste Ron Ng's (吳卓羲) father passed away due to cancer and wore black colour clothes and black shades to perform voice-dubbing for Lord of Shanghai (梟雄) series in TV City. It was estimated that the series will become anniversary series for broadcasting.

As Ron was the only son, he will return to work after settling his father's funeral matters and the funeral will take place in July. When asked about hid mood, Ron said: "OK, but sad and unhappy as our bondings resembled good friends. But no choice as he was suffering hardship and my family is very sad." He added his father had intention to retire early and had let their relatives to handle the family business, as Ron was not interested in doing business.

When mentioned about the rumours that his contract with TVB will expire in month end, Ron replied he had met the senior management including Virginia Lok (樂易玲) and Catherine Tsang (曾勵珍): "I provided some opinions and they made some offer, and we are considering at the moment. (Wish to resume filming series in Mainland China?) Hope it will be win-win situation but the company has its own stand and it is best to compromise."
