As she is the winner of 2014 Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant and asking if she observes the criticisms about 2017 Miss Hong Kong, Juliette Louie (雷莊𠒇), Kate replies she is not qualified to counsel her junior: "I need to fix myself first as clueless to handle criticisms and study psychology course instead. I have mood swings and get happy and sad easily. It takes me few years to get used to it when joining showbiz initially and I look swollen due to the stress."
