Bernice Liu returns to Vancouver to attend her grandmother's funeral
Actress, Bernice Liu's (廖碧兒) grandmother, aged 85 years old passed away in Vancouver last month and the funeral procession will take place on 19 March. Currently, she is filming Stegman is Dead movie in Winnipeg and will be applying leave to attend the funeral in Vancouver.
Bernice was very sad about her grandmother's death and expressed she visited her in Vancouver before starting work. In fact, her granny's condition was worrying and started to suffer from stroke after recovering from encephalitis earlier. During the interview, Bernice disclosed her granny had been fighting with the illness and it was a relief now: "I feel grateful for being able to send her off and I will start work after the funeral procession is completed. (Miss your granny?) She brought up many grandchildren and we dote on each other very much. Granny must be watching us from heaven and we must accompany our grandfather now. They have been a loving couple all the way."
