Artistes leaving TVB? Michael Miu: They need to work for a living
Artiste Michael Miu (苗僑偉) attended the promotion activity for Kee Wah bakery (奇華餅家) and managed to raise 40,000 of mooncakes for charity organisation. He expressed he will be participating Mainland China reality show if given the opportunity and had no plans to film new series with TVB currently. When asked if his workload was increased upon returning to Mainland, Michael said: "There is more theme in Mainland and TVB will look for me. (Better fees in Mainland?) Of course and it is a market problem. (Artistes wish to leave TVB?) It is a reality problem and people need to work for a living."
Asked if his children to join entertainment industry, Michael said: "It depends on them. Every industry is cruel, realistic with great pressure. As parents, there is nothing much we can help them. (You agree?) I cannot object if they want to."
