Find out why Frankie Lam had no intention to sign his wife, Kenix Kwok as his company's artiste
Artiste Frankie Lam (林文龍) and Rachel Lam (林熹瞳) attended the celebration banquet of the movie, Wo Men Ting Zhan Ba (我們停戰吧) which received many awards during overseas movie exhibition. Frankie received two male lead awards and when asked if this gave a strong 'injection' to the movie which will be releasing soon, Frankie said: " Yes and hope the box office will continue to maintain the sales."
Rachel expressed this proved the local production could reap good results in overseas and she was the scriptwriter. When asked if more approached her to write script after winning awards, Rachel admitted but will concentrate on writing scripts for her company first, as too many work will affect the quality.
Rachel pointed Mainland China female artiste must save food and clothes
Both disclosed they were currently preparing the second movie which was horror theme. Other than the original cast, they will invite Mainland China female artiste to act and discuss with her next week. Though the role was not tailor-made for her, but most importantly the main role must be outstanding. When asked if the fees was high for Mainland female artiste, Rachel said: "Yes, she must save food and clothes."
Asked if Frankie intended to sign his wife, Kenix Kwok (郭可盈) as one of his company's artistes, he laughed and said: "Too expensive! She has heavy burden and the property is steep too! (Both earned higher as husband and wife team?) Too expensive! (Yourself?) I am less steep and this balances well."
