Earlier, Ron Ng's (吳卓羲) 72 years old father passed away due to cancer and Ron arranged his father's funeral three days ago. Apparently, his eyes was red and yet to recover from the grief. Ron disclosed he was beside his father when he passed away and his wish was to hope Ron will visit his relatives in his hometown, Zhongshan (中山). However, Ron planned to bury his father in Hong Kong and said: "I plan to bury him in Hong Kong as it is easier for me to visit him and the relatives from Zhongshan often came to Hong Kong." When mentioned about the unforgettable memory about his father, Ron said: "I was very naughty when small and will dote him more upon growing up."
When asked if he needed to apply leave lately, Ron said: "I need to settle my dad's matter first and handle the rest later." He added TVB did not chase him for contract renewal as it knew he was busy with his dad's matter: "But the drafting for contract is completed. I have stopped working for sometime and will continue working after settling my dad's issue. (When you will resume working?) Should be soon and there is no definite date for me to start work yet."
