A burglary happens in Elaine Ng's house? Etta Ng admits to taking the guitars at her house


A burglary happened in Elaine Ng's (吳綺莉) house on 29 October. A police report was lodged and she lost a bag of clothes, 2 rings and 2 guitars and the total loss was estimated around $170,000. Elaine expresses she will give more details when she comes out around 3pm on 30 November. Around 2.30pm, Elaine's daughter, Etta Ng (卓林) and her female friend admit to the reporters that she returns home and takes away the guitars. Etta texts Elaine subsequently and it causes suspicions to the entire issue.

Elaine finally appears around 3pm and is dressed up casually with a mask, but she leaves immediately without stopping down to accept any interviews. She drives towards a convenience store in Dakeng and buys some beverages, cigarettes and cakes. The reporters then tell Elaine that Etta admits to returning home and taking the guitars but Elaine only says: "Sorry." She walks off after that and it is uncertain if she is having a mental breakdown as she is almost knocks down by a vehicle.

The reporters continue to chase after Elaine upon reaching her house and she says: "Sorry! Sorry! I have nothing to say and leave it to the social worker. (Withdraw the police report?) No idea. Sorry! (Chat to Etta?) Sorry for implicating everybody. Sorry!" Subsequently around 3.45pm, 3 police officers turned up at Elaine's house and one of the police officers reveals that he is handling the burglary case.
